Builders do expend charges to make roads, so it is very expensive to use this option.

The only time that I have tried to use this is to build a bridge on routes that I use often (or expect to). I can’t remember if it takes 1 or 2 builder charges to get the bridge.

Has the mod been activated? I can’t make districts on resources.

RE: Districts on Resources, it was my intention to have that capability. Maybe I neglected to check a box. I’ve never used this option. I was looking forward to having it as an option. I don’t know of any way to change it now. I say we play on without it. If everyone wants to restart, we can do that.

The builder can build roads option is working for me. DB’s mod is definitely active.

You can try the Harvest All Resources option - harvest the resource first and then build your district. Again, I’ve haven’t used that option yet, I hope that it works.

It’s not working either, I can’t get the features out.

I had “designed” two cities with Campus +5 and +7 science initial for the adjacency, I had to change all the planning of the districts. LOL

I also don’t know if you can change it with the game in progress, I prefer not to waste time restarting the game, let’s move on.

Probably true, you probably need have researched the tech to improve the resource in order to harvest the resource.

Hey guys. I made my move so the game could go on (turn 42), but I have a proposition, and if passed, I would like to revert the turns, you’ll understand why.
the new bbg has a lot of new changes, including to civs like persia and governors like magnus and liang.
I’ll compromise some of my strategy here: i’m going for internal routes, and when the game started magnus second promotion gives +2 food +2 prd per internal route. on the new version they divided the benefits into two promotions, and since I was commited to internal route, I had to spend an extra government point into magnus, which was completely unaccounted for.
I bet some more people are having similar problems. I don’t want to judge the new changes here, I just think they are too drastic to be applied to a game already on its way.
I propose we revert the turns since anyone has had to go out of their way because of the new bbg and play with the 5.2.11 static mod.
I would like to revert and spend my gorvernor point as planned before. If most decide we should keep the new bbg, then game on.
What do you guys say?

It seems very unfair for the rules to change during the game, so I agree with @danlmartins that we should revert and play with 5.2.11 static mod.

That said, I’m the host and I don’t know how to revert, so can someone explain how to do that.

It’s my turn, but I won’t make my turn until everyone casts their vote on whether to revert or not.

Also, I have 5.2.11 static enabled, but I am not sure how to make it the mod for the game as a whole.

as a host, you have the option to revert the turn in the game details screen. Here’s an example of a game that I am host of:

If no one else wants to revert before me, revert until it’s my turn on T42 and I’ll ask for @Calcifer to edit the save file and change the active Mod ID to the 5.2.11 static mod.
He’s been helping everyone with this problem.

The nerf for my Civ does’nt matter too much, let’s play on without changing to static. Don’t make it to complicate.

4 out 6, there’s majority. should we proceed with reverting? when the turn gets back to me, I’ll ask for it to be edited with the static mod id.

No, why should i?

But it’s not one question you asked but two in fact:

  1. Do you want to play with BBG 5.3 or with static BBG 5.2.x?
  2. How far do we have to revert?

For 2, i think: Everybody who has voted for reverting should count the concrete “damage” he has taken since we’re playing with 5.3. Then we could decide, if we have to revert 1, 2 or more rounds.
If nobody has a sunstantial damage from this about 2 turns, we needn’t revert but just ask Calcifer soon, to fix the game with the static BBG.
