I don’t think @Markelix needs to change his vote. He has been voted out and this is should not be a problem!
I would like to have the game reverted to turn 42, as mentioned before, for I had to spend an extra governor point on magnus due to new bbg rules. Since we are going back to 5.2.11, it would only be fair for me to spend this point according to my regular strategy.
No one else claimed to have had problems, so in my opinion we just revert to my turn on t42.
I’m o.k. with that, even if i was for playing with the newest BBG. Majority was for static BBG and that’s a concrete designation of a very concrete damage, you suffered.
I’m trying to be a neutral arbiter. @danlmartins invokes majority rule, but I was hoping for general consensus. We haven’t heard from @chiller.
These games are supposed to be fun, not a pain in the ass. I’ve had this BBG problem in other games. BBG is more trouble than it is worth IMHO.
On that point i’m with you: Better play the game with the Civs created by Fireaxis (even if they’re not well balanced in the view of the maiority of players), than to have those troubles we had (not for the first time) on the last week on several games.
And when you draft a couple of Civs for each player at the beginning of the game (or play with free civ-choice), nobody has to take a civ that is “under-powered” in his eyes.
Maybe i should take this a an occation of starting a game without BBG and other non-cosmetic mods soon?
I really appreciate you trying to be neutral, @OtherRealisms. It’s so much easier to get along with people who are actually trying to use good sense! Thanks for that!
I also would love to hear from @Chiller, as he’s been a good neighbor in several games! On the other hand, if we consider that everyone else is waiting for him, we reach a point where more people are being harmed by the wait than otherwise. I’ll let you be the judge of how long that wait should be!
About BBG, personally, I prefer my games with it. Firaxis is great at developing the game, but the BBG adjustments (not only civ characteristics but also many gameplay changes) are made by the player community for the player community. These guys know what they’re talking about!
There are some open games without BBG. And I just realized @Markelix is in all of them. The one hosted by Manoir as well! Haha
Really - didn’t realize, that all the open games i’m in are without BBG. Just joined some open games
I’m reverting to t42 for @danlmartins .
@danlmartins please change game to 5.2.11
Update: I reverted it 2 turns to @danlmartins turn.
alright. I’ve sent the save file, just waiting for one of them to edit it.
there we go! best luck to everyone!
Which BBG 5.2.10 link?
I would have voted for the revert as well:)
@victormaia86 You have proven yourself in battle. Would you consider a game-long truce so we do not fall behind Egypt?
Egypt won’t bother anyone in this game, no need to worry about them!
Truce accepted!
I will sell my votes for diplo points to the highest bidder who will gift me gold. Make an offer.
You haven’t already voted ?
Think i’ve voted my last turn - and your one before me.
Anyway, as i didn’t remeber exactly, what i voted for, it makes no sense to buy votes, maybe next time ;-).
I don’t remember.
And btw, it would be better you’re selling your diplomacy-points directly than offering your vote here (cause nobody will see what you really voted then and if you you maybe fooled your trading partner).
