Looks like we have four of us. Steve (Quinn), Matt (Lambo in Discord), and Tim (Mengiac). Can I get your guys’ thoughts on using heroes and secret societies in multiplayer for this game? Tim mentioned a mod for Secret Societies that I could use, which likely makes the feature a bit more fair? Or do you guys just wanna play vanilla.

Steve decided not to join, so opened the last position to giviner. Seems like a dedicated and quick player, so great for us! And ask again, thoughts on Secret Societies and Heroes? And if I don’t hear from you all, I will just start the game with them… 
Heroes can be OP but they do make the game fun at times. Secret Societies are fine. I’m happy to go with whatever.
OK, think I will try both as the original game designed them (no mods). Everyone can pick their leader if they so wish. Enjoy the game… and thanks for joining.
Heh guys: Got SmackDaddy from discord. Looks like an attentive player. Hopefully optimized turn order. I like playing after Matt in our other game as he starts his day before me, and I start it early relative to the other two. Should be nice hopefully. I didn’t have a great start, hope it works out better for you guys… except Matt because I think with the Alexander pick he is out for retribution from our last game… Be gentle Matt!

Civ BFFs
Can you set it up on Civ BFFs or do I need to? If Matt is fine with joining that, I do like it for the game I am in with the discord notices. Matt, it seems like a good group… after a few turns anyways, haha.

I put http://roze.run/_/78d8 in the Webhook URL. What exactly will that do?
That makes it so PYDT sends pings to Roze, the bot in our discord, to notifiy us when it’s our turn in the discord server!
Gotcha… and then if and when Matt joins the Civ BFFs, he will auto setup in that, or do you have to link him. I am sure you will be well on it…
Yep, I’ll invite him to the channel - he, and you, and everyone else needs to run this command in the alerts channel in discord:
/civ iam [insert your steam name here]
This will connect your steam name, which gets pinged by PYDT, to your discord name, so you can get notifications
