Lets try revert some turns, it might fix the issue.
If player canot play he reverts until is solved. It worked like that before.

Agree the map is quite small though. Should we play again we should use one of the modded real earth maps, like in Yet (not) Another Maps Pack (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=871861883)
@kilpa , it’s still building phase so there’s plenty of time to expand. Asia’s wide open for you without real competition. I do like the forced peaceful start that changes the pace from other games 
oh, Yet (not) another map looks great! Although current map is still manageable to play, I would be all for re-starting on this map.

cause industrial era might start at different time for players
It’s not possible to have all develop techs at same pace, so that might come after everyone has coal or some agreed time. 1934 might be good unless someone already has giant death robots by then
