I’m happy with settings as they are but ok with pretty much anything.

prefer random civ for everyone, no real preference for anything else

Fair point, what are others thoughts on this front? @OtherRealisms as the only player with a chosen civ, do you mind a random civ?

@Peteyboy Congratulations are clearly pending, with brazil’s surrender (and a little birdie, macedon’s is also imminent) there’s definitely no doubt (and has been for awhile now) that it’s just a matter of time before your outlandishly advanced troops are dancing on my bones in Istanbul :slightly_smiling_face: if you’d like I will make you pay for those bones as much as I can, or if you’d like to call it a victory right now I’m happy to surrender as well :smiley:

Thanks for playing this one out. I got lucky by having so much land to myself at the start with Netherlands being quite far away and then subsequently becoming AI.
Went for Etemenanki (as the game was Wetlands) that gave me a massive boost to science early game. Followed that up quickly with the Pantheon Lady of the Reed and Marshes meaning every Marsh tile gave 3 Food, Science and Production without having to be improved. Also went with Choral Music Belief (as usual) that provides easy Culture which is hard to come by in the early game. The final piece of luck was having Auckland CS nearby which is powerful on a map with lots of water and it scales up throughout the eras providing large boosts to production.
I’m happy to play the game to conclusion but understand if anyone has had enough!

definitely well played!!! ironically my start didn’t have a lot of wetlands :smiley: I’ll keep playing as long as you’d like
