@Fatusblobus I have set the timer to pause if on vacation. If you come back and turn off vacation, only to have it skip your turn… please let me know and I will revert the turn.
It would be an interesting test case if that does happen.

I did try to do this, but accidentally forgot to submit the status change to turn vacation mode off when I got back. I didn’t realise for several days that I’d made this mistake, which is why you may have noticed me on vacation mode for longer than advertised.

Guys I am leaving this game. The turn timer is too short, it’s impossible for me to always make my turns with my work schedule and it makes it impossible to play this game.
For example, I’ve been trying to settle a city for over 15 turns and every time the AI gets a turn it turns the setter back in the opposite direction. Spend my gold, faith, etc on stuff I didn’t want to buy.

Afterwhich, just surrender as we won’t get a replacement player.
That leaves 3? Do you want to continue? Yikes! over 3 years in to this 
I am done with this game. The experimental rules had gone too far.
I propose the following if we are to stay in this game.
Changing the game rules.
If this is ok. Or any other changes, please let me know. The game description would be updated.
