Rules sound good but…
What about peace? Once we declare war on somebody do we stay at war or can we eventually go to peace?
So once we meet 2 civs we have to declare war on 1 of them. What happens when we meet civ 3 and 4, do we now have to declare war on one of them? What happens when we meet civ 5 and 6, do we have to declare war on one of them?
Open to discussion but my thoughts are to have at least one war going on. Peace can be made and my thought was to allow up to 10 turns while moving to the next war. Try to keep the friends and enemies a bit fluid.
Started after about 10 tries. Let me know if it works.
It worked for me but I had to subscribe to 4 mods. The good thing about my starting position is I know one direction I won’t be attacked…the ice caps I started next to 
Hmmm, I figured we had all the mods maybe except for Valamas’ “I am going to fix things I don’t like” mod. I like a few of those things - no world congress or emergencies for example. One or two others, I took an earlier screenshot but may not have always clicked the same boxes. I think the ones that caused issue were the “special” map enhancements.
Returned from holiday dreamland, and currently looking after my father in the distant Midlands.
I am not sure I understand what we are supposed to do here regarding war and peace…
a) Have to declare war on 1 civ when we meet a second.
b) After that, at least one war must be in progress at any time…
c) Is that only one ? or some ratio to total known civs ?
d) Can make peace with any civ after minimum 10? turns, so must presumably declare on someone else at the same time ?

Yes, after meeting the second pick a war to start. We can have peace with one war and get up to 10 turns to declare the next. More war is allowed. Conquest only for victory conditions.
Never mind, I found vacation mode. Will be on vacation for 6 weeks.

I am at war with a tribe, so assume establishing friendships elsewhere is permitted ?
That was the idea. Of course, I am about out so play on.

GG Dan. I’m surprised you didn’t ask for peace after 10 turns of being at war. I thought that was part of the rules.

I don’t think that was this game. Didn’t think of it regardless. I made a mistake by moving units to attack someone else.

This is weird. One of the mods maybe?
I think the outcome is a foregone conclusion. I’m going to play it out to get the victory screen but if you want to surrender I’m fine with that.
I thought for sure you would attack me when you had the advantage. You had a lot more military than me and I was out of position. Plus you had the tech advantage as well.
