I was about to ask: how many city states are there in this map? Default is 15?
Those affairs are usually discussed via ingame markers/pings.
Yes, there are 15 city-states, the default amount for a large map.
Miskan makes me a little impatient… 10 hours ago I thought I was about to play my turn!
Sorry guys. Again it was a 10 hour turn and I do 5 hr on average. Do we have a bad time-zone setup that drives the long turns? As I have always played mine asap if I’m a) not at work or b) not sleeping. 
Don’t worry. We’re playing one turn a day which is perfectly normal.

Is everything other than disaster level standard for this map? Like luxuries, sea level etc.
Only temperature. Antiquity is set to “new”, resources are random, sea level random as well, start position legendary, etc.

Now that scouts are out, how do people like their start? 
Leaving out the fact that there are 7 volcanoes within 3 tiles from my capital, it’s a decent start. Roads are very much needed, though.
I’ve got hills for days, going to be an interesting housing setup.
Isn’t that (hills) what Primordial map is for? Also the World Age is new as Mesias said.
So what will happen to someone “On Vacation” when it is his/her turn? I saw that written on Valamas’ profile image.
It will either complete the turn as an AI, or do nothing, in my experience. Depends on when the game was created, in this case it should auto-play his turns unless something breaks down.
Sorry for the delays in my past two turns… I spent the weekend moving with short notice (luckily for good reasons only!) and did not have time to go through them like I usually do.
