I would like to generate the map with the Better Balanced Map 1.20 mod. Please subscribe to this mod. I just want everyone to have a decent start.
If anyone objects in the next 24 hours then I’ll generate the map (20:00ish BST 10th June) without it.

no objection, and done. fyi for mods like this that only affect map generation (and not gameplay), usually only the host needs to have the mod.

Starts set to balanced. CS set to 10, just because. Everything else default. Hopefully I haven’t messed it up. I use some quality of life mods such as extended policy cards etc. I hope that doesn’t trip anyone up.

could you list the mods so I can be sure I have them if they’re needed? as long as they don’t alter game mechanics, I have no problem with them
that quick deal mod is so useful. Also like the top panel ext.
@Marthow What does vacation mean? Will your turns be skipped? I do not want take unfair advantage in this war
In my experience, it sits and waits for them to take their turn. The ‘on vacation’ means we know why it’s stopped. At least, that’s how it’s been going in other games for me.

there’s a host-accessible setting that controls what happens when a player is on vacation. In the absence of a timer, it shouldn’t do anything different. If there was a timer, the setting would specify whether the on-vacation player is skipped immediately or if the timer gets suspended. So since we have no timer, it should just wait for him to take the turn.
