Weā€™re playing without BBG?
Iā€™m asking cause i heard, that Mvemba-a-Nzinga is bugged in BBG.

Iā€™ve been looking on the playing-times. No chance for 2 turns/day, cause Peteā€™s first window is before Bunoā€™s first, his 2nd after Bunoā€™s 2nd.

So better we choose a turn-order for one ā€œsecureā€ turn/day, for example this one:

took @kapshul 's playing-times out of an old table I made and @PerroFlamer 's from his PYDT-info.

If @Pete isnā€™t sure to play his turn in the one-hour-window on the morning, we could sort him between Buno and Valamas.

My playing times are approximate and I can often take turns throughout the day just that the time slots Iā€™ve stated tend to be more or less guaranteed.

In that case it would be theoretiocally possible to play 2 turns/day, as @PerroFlamer would like. But with very short playing windows for the 2nd:

If this donā€™t works on one day, itā€™s also getting close for one round/day from Pete to kapshul to Aleks. so Iā€™m for one of the ā€œsaveā€ 1-turn/day options.

I often play late too so I think the first table looks promising but any should be fine.

Just a thoughtā€¦given that this is the best of three games and these will be played simultaneously, anyone excelling in one game is likely to be targeted in another game to prevent them racking up a large score across the three games. Should make for interesting diplomacy

I repeat this questions cause itā€™s maybe overseen due to the other posts after:

There is a couple of rules that say:

  • This game is unique, so relations, deals, agreements, cooperation, conflicts, betrayals, war or similar that you may have with a player in other game(s) or in real life must be ignored within this game.
  • No teams or hard feelings across the games, each one of these games must be independent from the other 2, this means that deals, cooperation, alliances, trades or similar across the games are prohibited.

So, if a person is doing good in one game, or even if you have bad relations due to any other game or real life is not reason enough to undermine his progression in other game. Any reason to undermine his progression must be particular to that game.
We must commit to play each game as is there is no other games related to that player.

Btw, I added these lines to the rules to leave this topic clear:

  • We must also commit to do not undermine a players proggression in one game just because he is excelling in another game, all reason to undermine or attack a player must be particular to the same game.

Also, as you can see the score table, is not a big difference to be 2nd or 3rd than to be first, this is done this way to promote a balanced style of play, example: it is not worth when you are 3rd to risk too much to get the 1st place, it is better to get a secure 2nd or 3rd than a risky first.

Yes we are playing with BBG, I heard something related to Kongo, but it seems that it has already been fixed, but moreover, I think that no one has picked Mvemba a Nzinga, so we should have no problem related to that topic.
Orā€¦ do you wanna play him? I can see that you have him in your draft.

Update: I have been told that Kongo adopted all of the beliefs from the religions he had when he was bugged, im talking about BBG 5.3 and olders, but now, he has been reverted to the vanilla settings that in fact is nerfed, now he doesnā€™t get any of the religions beliefs, not even the majority one, despite game says that he gets beliefs of the majority religion, for me this is a nerf, but not a big one since you wonā€™t be able to build holy sites anyway; if you want to play him I think that no one will have any problem. If someone doesnā€™t agree pls let us know.

Noted! :grinning:

@Pete In one game I have atm of a series Bo3 a player next to me was doing pretty well, he conquered a nation that was not friendly to me, so I didnā€™t care, doing that he assured a 2nd or 3rd place, maybe even 1st in the long run, but he was too greedy and to assure first place tried to conquer also one of my allies, now he is at war with both of us, he will probably lose and get conquered, and instead of a secure 2nd or 3rd, he might be 6th place. Thatā€™s what Iā€™m trying to say.
