So far there are no games listed with open slots, and I am wondering if the game will list there and if we can sub players in that way.

Does anyone object to a 1 day turn timer?
Naaa. I never join this 1 or 2 days timer.
You can’t have a break for 2 days then play the third day. That’s a real problem for me.
A 3 days timer is perfect. It doesn’t block the game + it doesn’t block your life 
PS: Or just find a sub for Perros… He has a good position in the game, easily subbable + 3 days timer.
If Perros wasn’t the creator of this game, he would have been sub (sorry for my english) a lot earlier.

So what were you talking about setting yourself to be sub? I thought you meant you were going to quit and then sub as France… And that’s why you kicked him? Why would you kick him if you are leaving anyway? And not planning to take over??

I requested in support to kick Perro.
While that was waiting, Perro played a turn.
I was done with waiting weeks for a turn, especially since I am in multiple games with Perro.
I set myself as sub as I wasn’t going to waste my time with Perro anymore.
Soon after, the admin kicked Perro.
So I stayed.
Game on.
I see. So I loaded the game to play my turn… France is leading culture and is only two techs behind the leader, they are very relevant! We need a replacement, I would rather the game takes 5 years to play and we have human players rather than walk all over the AI, I can do that in single player, I play here because I want to compete against other people. This is why I am so hesitant to kick anyone, yes he was taking time to play his turns but we do not know why, this may have been temporary. It’s not unusual in a game that takes months or years that sometimes people are unable to play their turns consistently for a period of time, for whatever reason that may be, it is better to be patient and give them time than to kick them and play on without any replacement.
I also have another problem, I tried to place a fishery and I noticed it did not improve the tile and it actually made it unworkable, the citizen slot completely disappeared from the tile!? Placing fisheries would be very valuable to me so I would like to resolve this issue if possible, does anyone know why this would happen? Clearly it’s some kind of bug but is it avoidable, is it related to a mod or something?
Regarding the fisheries, Yes, from what I recall it is a known bug with the mod and is listed as such if you read through it. Think it’s Sukrits Oceans. I only found out like you in another game and had to remove the fishery to get the tile back as you describe.
With regard to your sentiments I tend to agree that we should always try and accommodate players have spells when they aren’t able to play. Having said that it doesn’t take much to post a comment explaining that fact and I think it’s courteous to do so. I would consider it part of an unwritten agreement we should all undertake when signing up to a game along with other various aspects such as use of languauge, respect for others and so on. In this case we waited weeks before hearing anything from @PerroFlamer despite direct messaging through Discord and he was playing other games during this period. Then he explained, played one turn then nothing for another week before he was kicked 
Well IMO a player who plays once a month is better than no player at all.

Well you are the one who caused this problem… We already had a player, you kicked him. If it’s up to me, I’ll invite Perro back.
In 3 days, if there is no replacement for France, I will turn on the turn timer (3 day).
So redirect the whining, finger-pointing, and insular uselessness towards the cause of finding another player if you feel so strongly about it.
