I would like to play my turn. I wasn’t aware that my turn would be skipped. Can you revert turn?
I turned on (now off) vacation mode this morning. Not touching that again.

I was also surprised that turning vacation mode made me skip my turns. Well… at least I didn’t slow down the game for the rest of you.
