Smack talk goes here for The Monster Mash: Vampires for Everybody!! Game URL: https://playyourdamnturn.com/game/d3fde2d7-a67d-481e-935c-c8c6b1cde630
do you have to take sagune with first title?
i think that should probably be the rule.
Yes, Sanguine Pact is a must for everyone. You should get it by clearing Barbarian Outposts, but the game won’t always award it consistently.
As I understand, the game will automatically award the opportunity to join Sanguine Pact to the first player to clear an Outpost. The next player to clear an outpost will have a slightly lower probability (~80%?). The probability will lower as new civilizations join Sanguine Pact, but it will never hit zero (I think…)
I’ll put plenty of barbarians on the map, so there will be lots of opportunities to get it. This may also help control the number of City-States that pop up, because there will be plenty.
I’ve added a few Friendly Rules to the game settings. Nothing too crazy. If anyone objects, please let me know here. Otherwise, I’ll start this one pretty soon. Look forward to it!
do we want 10 players then?
going to be really hard to get the invite for last few.
You can get it through a level 2 alliance (i believe) with a player that has it but that takes ages and goes against the kill each other stuff.
teams perhaps?
anyway i am ok no matter what.
I have two specific players who have expressed interest. They should join up soon enough so we can get started. Otherwise I’ll bring it back down and start anyways.
I haven’t found clear information about letting every player join a single Secret Society. It’ll be a little bit of an experiment for us, so it’d be helpful if players announce when they obtain it.
Good stuff looking forward to seeing how it goes.
We’re ready to go. I’m currently testing the following mod: Sign In
If it’s stable and guarantees 100% Secret Society membership, I’ll add it to the Game Details and write another message here. Also, I’d like to enable the following options on DB Gold’s multiplayer mod:
- Battle Notifications,
- Trees Hide Units
- Better Scouts
- No Bad Huts
- All Great People are Mortal
- More Spy Capacity
- No Emergencies
I’ll leave out all the other crazy changes that DB Gold allows, since we may already be mod-heavy. I’ll write again once I’ve started the game.
Mods appear to work together well, so I’ve started the game. Please check to make sure you subscribe to the mods and enable them when you take your first turn.
If you clear a barbarian camp and don’t get a Sanguine Pact offering, please write here. We’ll probably have to reload.
One more thing: I set the initial number of City-States to zero. So we’ll only have City-States after Barbarian camps have time to mature and convert. My suggestion: Build a couple warriors and clear a Barbarian camp first.
Good luck! May the bloodiest vampire win!
CS being zero. I have a game with that I believe. All clan sites say they cannot convert to a CS. Ill screenshot the settings and that msg next turn.
Quick reminder: Better Scouts means that Scouts are no longer military units, and they can be killed if left unescorted. Take care of your scouts and they’ll give benefits to nearby allies. Barbarians should be showing up soon – good luck!
i have 3 units out scouting in every direction and still have found no encampments yet
Me either… it’s odd. I did a test run with the same settings and met barbarians by turn 7. Has anyone else met any?
nope, but I did not build a scout first.
well a barbarian scout found me so I’ll just follow him back to his nest
Very good, thanks for the update @Maxmcg and @Fatusblobus1. Can you confirm what the clan outpost says about converting into a city-state? @Valamas suggested they might not be able to convert.
Yep, it says that it can’t become a city-state.
If there is a re-roll suggestion. Im fine with that.
as am i
