The Greatest Earth (fe28db9e)

Everything looks fine with I play it. You may need to revert the game one full turn, not just to the last player.

With new frontiers pass being out, we’re going to be seeing civ updates.

Are all of you playing on Windows? If anyone is on mac or linux, we’re going to see those errors.

I hope it isn’t one of the mods I insisted were just fine, even tho it say they aren’t supported…

I’ll revert back to Khilani’s previous turn and see what happens.

So that turn worked, fingers crossed that fixes the problem

My Turn worked! hopefully thats the end of the issue

Starting up a 2 vs 2 team game and have one slot to fill if anyone (other than Dogboy and Dand4444 who are already in…) is interested. The password is ā€œteamsā€.

@BigStickOfButter had a family thing come up, he asked me to let the game know he will be away for a couple days.

Thanks.

Back. Went on a spur of the moment camping trip. Good time, game is moving again though!

I’m posting this in a few places…

I was getting frustrated with not being able to buy non-religious units with faith, so I did a bit of reading and found out that this is a June update bug. So Grand Master’s Chapel, Monumentality, and Valletta are all currently useless.

Guess who was relying on at least one of these in all his games?

Anyhow, if anyone has a chance to avoid choosing any of these, it might be a good idea until the bug is fixed.

Cheers!

This is a super unfortunate bug. Just incase anyone isn’t in the loop:

This is going to be hitting every in-progress / saved game. The only options are to:

  1. play in legacy beta mode, which is no longer really feasible for us on this game without reverting 3-4 turns, each, which might just be too far. (This option also disappears immediately on next game update, which may or may not fix it or break something else, they’ve broken something major in the past 2 patches)

  2. delay game turns, holding out for a potential retro-active fix (this is rumored to be, in talks)

  3. dealing with it as is, and just accepting the game is partly broken.

I have a few games i’m impacted pretty heavily by, but I’m also in camp 3 because I don’t have high hops of a retroactive fix, and legacy mode isn’t fun to toggle on and off between turns.

From what I’ve seen in another of my games, the bug isn’t happening in new cities (either settled or conquered since the update) so I was able to faith buy a worker with the Monumentality Golden Age ability.

I could see this causing a little political instability.

Oh jeeze… i wonder when, if you traded cities back and forth if it would… fix the bug? Not saying we should do that but, lol… what the heck

Breaking out the popcorn for the greco-kongan war!

lol, We have also confirmed Mongolia still sucks as a Civ. :frowning: Smooth work Sumeria!

Yep, Mongolia not doing so well. Not so much that it’s a bad civ, but that the starting position in TSL is utterly horrible.

I’ve never had a single game as Mongolia where I didn’t feel behind from the go. Spend extra time building their special stable, just to realize their horses still suck. I’m bitter. lol

Yep, it should be fun… the only warning I had was some cryptic map pin from Butter about how I might need my battleship to defend myself, then bam!

Whooopp whoooop whoooooop!

I have only played Mongolia one other time. That was a fun game I won in the end. Once you get a bunch of Keshigs and go on a pillaging spree, you catch up quickly.
