Oh dear…borked…
During my turn the ‘choose great person’ appears in the turn sequence icon.
But, the window for choose person/hero/etc… is devoid of items to choose, with some unfamiliar icons in the window header. After manually navigating around all the units to be moved, and the cities to be allocated builds, a next turn prompt is nowhere to be seen.
Its early in the morning, so i’ll leave this to tomorrow afternoon, although no idea what to do…other than a revoke or two.
Alternatively, or if the attempts are abortive, I am sufficiently far behind to simply surrender and let you fight it out. I am off to bed now…
Good night. Or good morning? Curious what the problem is.
I just sent the relevant image.
There is nothing to choose, so the only way of exiting the window is ‘X’, which I assume does not fulfil the selection, so the need for the choice remains, and the next turn option is never presented.
I can complete my turn by manual intervention individually on all units and cities, but have no means of telling civ6 that I am done.
You can press shift-enter to force end the turn. This is usually done with you have two units that end their turn on the same hex (your city is surrounded and you can’t move your unit off). It ends your turn.
I agree you are far behind but your units are keeping me busy. If you retire then the AI will get stupid, lose all your units, then I can focus on Dan. Right now I have to focus on 2 enemy which equates to 4 different fronts.
ShiftEnter worked.
Did anyone else get a sense that we were running out of Great People to choose ?
No, I still see lots of great persons to choose from.
GG.
Yes it was GG
