[FIXED] Unable to upload save

After PYDT has informed me that I have a turn to play, and I have played the turn, neither the uploader nor the website will accept the saves for RBPBEM5 (2nd try) https://www.playyourdamnturn.com/game/86bff4a8-2f92-4d33-a685-adeeded20b03

I am able to upload the saves for RBPBEM9, which is a new game and much smaller save file. This failure to upload has been occurring regularly for the past week now, and the only solution that has worked has been replaying the turn, and then immediately uploading with the application. If the application fails to upload, then the whole turn needed to be replayed.

I’m not sure the size of the file is the issue, it looks like your save files are about 13-14 MB right now, and I’ve played in games where they get close to 100 MB. What error message are you getting? Can you upload a save file that fails to this thread?

I do need a “retry upload” option in the client, because it is annoying when your turn fails to upload and there’s no other option in the client but going back to the game list.

Sorry for taking so long to reply, I was at work and couldn’t copy paste the link whilst on mobile. Thank you for the prompt response, and I wholeheartedly agree that a resubmit button would be fantastic.

The save looks valid to me, what error message do you receive?

Well, I feel dumb.

Went to upload the save again to generate a bug report and it uploaded?!

If It happens again I’ll post it here along with another zip of a save.

I’ve released a new version of the client that has an option to resubmit failed uploads, let me know if this helps then next time you get the error.
