I’ll bump that up on my list, thanks!
Hi
Thanks for answer and for all your work here
Just another thing:
“A button to launch CIv game after download the save field in the PC client”
One thing,
I see you develop the mechanism that allow the client to launch directly Civ VI in steam.
I suggest to use a button to do it, instead of automatically do it itself
In any case ty a lot for your efforts to improve this.
Random civ selection is now available for new games.
As for the button to launch civ - I’d think I’d rather implement that as a setting for the client (open civ after download or don’t), any specific reason for the button? Thanks!
The only reason I have is if the player wants to launch the DX12 version of the game. Currently, the only way I know to do this is to launch the game via the Steam Library Play button. Otherwise, launching Civ VI by any other means launches the DX11(?) version.
As far as I know, Firaxis hasn’t added a Steam Launch Option to force all launches to use the DX12 executable.
Good point, thanks! I’ll get a new version out soon.
Hi
First of all, thank you so much for all. New features are working perfect.
In my case, i usually play several turns each time i conect the game, so launching automatically the game several times, could be not necesary
The idea of this is to avoid the need to search for civ exec DX12 option when i’m using PYDT
As always just a suggestion and as i said so many thanks for all of this.
I’ve added a setting in 1.1.11 to disable automatically launching civ, but if you play multiple turns at once having the setting enabled isn’t a big deal - it won’t launch multiple copies of civ, the 2nd time it’ll just pop your civ window to the front.
If anyone has any ideas on how to tell Steam to launch the normal version or the DX12 version I could make another update to have that as a setting.
