Me and my friends have been playing a Beyond Earth game, literally by passing the save file around in email. It works, but it’s tedious. Is there any chance, since it’s running on the same engine as Civ 5, that official support could be given to that game to let it run in the client?
Unfortunately, I’ve never played Beyond Earth before, and looks like I just missed it in the Steam Sale. 
I’ll try out the demo this weekend and see if it’s enough to get me all the info I need to get it set up in the system.
Thankfully there was another steam sale! Got it working, and I think you should be able to import your save into PYDT, let me know if you have any problems.
