I’m trying PYDT for the first time with a friend, but I’m having trouble with the initial save upload. We’re trying to play with a vox populi modpack, but from what I’ve read in the forum this shouldn’t cause any trouble. However when I try to upload the file I just get a generic “couldn’t proccess the request” error, and checkign the browser console I see it was a 500 response.
I’m trying to figure out what is happening, but I wanted to confirm first:
On the supported DLC list, does PYDT care about the map packs and “Wonders of the Ancient World” DLC? It is not listed, so I’m unsure if I should have it enabled or disabled. Regardless, I’ve tried both without change on the issue.
I’m not quite sure what’s happening, the save seems to be on player 6 (an AI), I can’t load it, I’m guessing because I don’t have all the mods set up. Can you try playing another turn and making sure the save is on a human player before uploading it?
Did player 2 turn, and then player 1 again, then tried to upload. Same issue.
And from what I can tell, the second player is in fact player 2, or at least the UI seems to indicate that.
I’ll try re-starting the game with defined civs instead of random, maybe that could help?
Yeah, PYDT can’t figure out the correct current player from the file. I’m not sure why, I’ll have to dig into it and I haven’t looked at the civ 5 parser in years. I’m guessing it has something to do with the mod but I don’t see an easy fix, unfortunately.
