This is probably evident elsewhere, but can’t find anything related to it. Got my first victory in PYDT against another newbie, and we are not sure what to do once the game is completed. There is no way to save the turn that I can see, and have it forwarded to the next player to show the win. I did replay it, and sent him the victory screen. But the game is still active in the PYDT client. How do I get it out of there, and have the game show up in my completed games tab. And does the other person just surrender that game to end it on his end? Do we both surrender? Thanks for the help on what would seem to be a simple question, but like I said, I don’t see it anywhere.
Got an answer for this from Catalpa as I understood it: When the victory condition is met, the winner best take an image of the victory screen, post it or forward it to the other players, and then everyone surrenders the game to get rid of it in the active client list. He said there were different procedures for ranked games, but I don’t know what they are. Also informed me that if a player surrenders while their civilization and others are still active, the game will revert to AI for that player. And if everyone surrenders before game is concluded by a victory condition, the remaining player can play it out solo until victory is achieved if they want. That was very helpful information, so thanks to him for sharing.
