Easyzivi's game 2 manually balanced (6b1a7e97)

That doesn’t seem right, but I would totally take advantage and overrun them if I had more than 3 units.

easy, was not expecting it will be so hard to overrun you  1st surprise to me was you attacked yourself not waiting for our alliance’s movement, at once after i denounced you. Then I tried to help Japan stay against you, and pushed too early, was not actually prepared  where do you knights comes in ordas from?

Actually i did not want war at all, but thought its better seek alliance against France instead waiting you form it on your initiative…

And another good surprise was weak America’s defense, and no push from anybody from South/East/North when i was busy there. I was surrounded from all sides, and would say my chances were not good at all. In general I dont like pangea/fractal/shuffle maps…

GG folks, thanks for the game
I am in a hopeless position (particularly due to the lack of science) and I am about to loose a city to Kennedy and another one due to loyality.
I hope you dont mind me getting out of that game early, I will be on holidays soon anyways so this way I will also spare you the long waiting times. I hope you will enjoy bringing this game to a conclusion.

Kennedy I actually wanted to try and force a cultural victory in this game, which is an awful plan
I fetched Stonehenge early and therefore came a few steps too late with my second settler. Because I had only tundra further down I felt forced into the early war. Your defence was meticulous, you played out the strength of japan very well and in particularly I enjoyed the little side war over religions (crusade vs. defender of the faith) in the short period of peace we had (was more like a cold war…)

Kilpa
I had to go to war on short term because japan swarmed me with missionaries and was about to convert my cities and start a crusade. I pulled knights from the other side towards your border but ultimately had too few resources on the japanese borders due to crusade. I war sort of hoping to get you with a frigate rush later but my sea force is too small and too late by now anyways.
So yes, I wanted to go to war against you as I knew with half the map in your pocked you would snowball hard. But did not plan on going against the two of you at the same time

Good game, Easyzivi! I think it’s been one of my favourites so far. I too have regretted going for cultural victory before. I figured we’d not be friends when I just beat you to my second city spot, but you caught me by surprise and I barely pulled off that defense. The crusader vs DoF was pretty fun. I’m not going to say it was my plan to induce you and Kilpa into earlly war, since I lost so many troops and missionaries when you attacked, but I guess it was a happy accident.

I’m not in any games with you, but if you start anything up when you get back from vacation, I’d love to join. Cheers!

Thats a knife in my back Kennedy

Well when you didn’t accept my offer of friendship from the turn before, I figured war would be soon, and the emergency reward was too good to pass up. If you let me take Paris for the $$ I’lll happily live in peace with Rome.

Well, I’m down to my last injured city, so I think I’ll call it a day. Well done, Kilpa! Zivi and I should’ve teamed up, but his early attack created too much ill will between our civs.
Good luck with each other!

@BobReman @Kennedy992 @easyzivi

1st game won on PYDT for me.

you completely ignored me when i took America. Cree allying with Japan or France could have changed everything.
Thanks for a nice time.

GG
I tried to be a “pacifist” and was quite land locked, so I couldn’t support any of the other players in a meaningful way.
