@Ceryn Never fear! Matt and I will make sure that you won’t be playing a bot for long. I was not enamored of have Byzantines as a neighbour in the first place so I was always going to try to disrupt their empire before the advent of Tagma.

@matt_lambert you take the Western half and I’ll take the East?

How big is Basil at this point? I guess he is being hit by @Sledge_Poteet, but honestly unless he’s basically irrelevant, I don’t think I will be playing this.

Edit: I posted the game on a discord channel I’m on, maybe something comes out of it.

@BambusBjoern Granada and other surrounding city states are under my protection. I don’t expect I will suz all of them, but I can’t just let you take that. However I do not really have a wish for war. If you retreat your remaining units I will let them live as a gesture of good faith. What do you say?

I have no choice, only into the East I can expand. In South and West are water, at the North you and other Civ. You know that, and you want me small, I think that is your reason, and not that you protect the CS. Expand to north and all is good. I will protect my Land and my expansion with to the last unit. Prepare to WAR.

I mean, you’re not wrong in that I’d rather keep you small, but east is also my only kinda viable expansion vector. North are mountains and Canada, and west is a desert.

But fair enough, lets have it out then ^^

GG @BambusBjoern, thanks for toughing it out to the bitter end. You fought well, but the table was set against you. If you had not lost so many of your units in the Granada incident, you would have stood a chance, but as it was… See you in the next one!
