Not sure this is a PYDT bug or if it has to do with the game itself. We have hade several games where victory conditions are met, but no victory movie is shown. Neither for the winner nor the losers. The game just keeps going. Any ideas how to solve this?
I’m pretty sure that it’s a general hotseat issue, the only changes PYDT makes to the save files are to set user names and passwords. I don’t really have any ideas on how to fix it. 
Thanks anyway. I’ve done some googling, and it seems to be a pretty common problem. And not only in hotseat games, but in ordinary single player games as well. That’s something for Firaxis to change, then.
