[CLOSED] Downloaded save will not load in game

I downloaded the save file from the website, the game starts to load - that screen with the leader appears, it says ‘loading, please wait’, but then it never loads.

Maybe worth mentioning a player joined the game after it started and surrendered before ever playing a turn.

I am hosting the game and this would be turn 2.

My Civ6 version is a Mac App Store one.

Are the other players playing on Windows? Is the version of the Mac client the same as the Windows client right now? If not, you won’t be able to play with Windows players.
