Confirmed.

(Note: I forgot to check the “disable diplomatic victory” box when I created the game. I think it’s unlikely anyway, since it’s Always War, so just leaving it technically possible for expediency)

if no one objects, yes I can remap, but I won’t be able to get to it until tomorrow

as for player order: no it’s not, it’s just the order that we joined in. If someone wants to own the process of finding out what the best order is, I could do the reordering before remapping tomorrow

we discussed ign8’s spawn in CPL, and I dont think his spawn is bad.

But I probably have technical but I cannot confirm until we play a few turns. terrible spawn though :smiley:

I’ve seen worse, but it’s a pretty bad start by BBS standards, especially considering his civ should have a floodplains bias. I don’t mind a restart.

The image is for my spawn as Mali, which looks like a technical.

Egypt spawn is honestly good (posted in CPL) and has floodplains and 22 tile 1st ring

Oh. Then yes, the Egypt start is just fine - a 2/2 tile workable right away and another one for 25g.

ok. I think I have technical based on CPL rules. plz remap. can only place two cities from my starting location in 5 tile radius b4 shipbuilding

I don’t mind a restart much, but damn that’s annoying. Just a few more tiles (not necessarily good ones) from the map generator, to the west and east, and we wouldn’t be there.
