So… this game being pretty old, I’m having trouble finding the proper BBG version. It tells me I need 5.1.8, but nothing I find seems to work. (for example, this one: Steam Workshop::Better Balanced Game 5.1.8 does not seem to work). Does anyone have the numeric ID or a link to the mod I should find? Or a zip file with the proper version? Else I wont be able to sub this :frowning:

GG guys. Thanks for the game. Unfortunately I was not able defeat @PerroFlamer and my region was too small. And @Ceryn continuing in the good game as Tamar. I had no chance :-). Thx to @PerroFlamer for very good story, which was wrote in this game for our nations :-).

@Phuzzy Mind explaining the war declaration? Its been a couple turns and I’ve kinda been expecting an attack… which hasn’t really come? So why the war? I never had any ill will towards Indonesia (or towards anyone else tbh, the current war against Kongo (@BambusBjoern ) is as inexplicable to me as yours, as I repeatedly asked for a friendship. Kongo probably won’t survive this, but you definitely will, as I have not the energy or will to cross the oceans and get to you. So yeah… wassup with that?

So, do we want to ignore this rule now?

If for some reason we have a mid or late game leaver or slow player first of all we are going to do everything possible to find a replacement, if we can’t find a replacement cities from this player now controlled by the AI can be razed but must not be taken. Any kind of trades with the AI is going to be prohibited.

There has been some conquering of cities, that belonged to AI civs by me and China. But that was after the player left because their military was completely or at least mostly beaten. Hungary was never in a war.

I’m ok with ignoring that rule, since it is dificult to decide when someone is beaten enough when leaving the game.

I’m fine with allowing it at this stage of the game.

The way I see it, players who are broken and decide to forfeit after losing many cities should be able to do so, and their conquerors should not be penalized for it. I’m also fine with it.

@BambusBjoern GG. Not 100% sure what you expected there, declaring war like this to someone an age and a half ahead. I did try to make peace, but at this stage of the game, maybe the wise choice was to retire in a blaze of glory.

Not gonna lie, I did think about killing you off. But I also felt like keeping you around had a lot of trade benefits, and you were not really dangerous, so I was inclined to have you as a trading partner, hence my propositions to be friends. That wasn’t meant to be, but anywho GG!
