Wanted to provide an updated. My computer is still broken. The repair man thought he fixed it, but everything is extremely slow, even opening simple webpages. I don’t know how long it will be. Typing this on an old computer.

I have bad news. My laptop is unrepairable. Turns out there was damage to the motherboard, video card, and power supply. I can’t afford a new computer right now and won’t be returning to Civ6. Hope to see y’all in Civ7 next year. Feel free to replace me in game.

I’m down to my last city, basically waiting to be conquered. I don’t think I’ll put up a much better fight than the AI at this point. If it’s all the same to you guys, I’d like to surrender so that the game can progress slightly faster without my turn.

I commend a fellow player. I captured a civilian unit. They had the opportunity to avoid this had they reloaded.

This question may be a tad late, but is there no way to upgrade units from an earlier era to its equivalent in a later era? (e.g., Slingers to Archers to Crossbowmen?)
Upgrades have been disabled.
While in your game, if you open up the options, you can see the game setup and hover over enabled settings.
