When creating a new game; can you add a description to the turn timer which also mentions vacation mode?
Also, when enabling vacation mode in your profile, to list the games which have turn timers on as a warning message.
Edit: The default turn timer is 10 hours. Should the default be at least 1 day, or even 3 days?
