Whoa… the Cree have been busy!
I’ll fight to the bitter end of course, but I thought I’d take the opportunity to say Good Game! The previous player for the Cree made some choices I wouldn’t, but overall a pretty good position to inherit. Excellent move by Kilpa with the sneak attack… I don’t know why it was a surprise, but I was taken off guard.
originally after we made peace, i had no intention to attack you. But since you was pushing England hard, and 1st city seemed will collapse soon, had no other choice but attack you again. Could not let you win extra 3 cities, you were already very strong.
Before starting war , was going to offer you make peace with Mesias / otherwise i will join war. But then i thought if you will refuse will have no surprise effect anymore, if you would agree to it- my army would be just consuming treasury without any work:)
Thanks for your input Kennedy. Seems i choose wrong side to attack, as Mesias declared war against me at once after we finished with you
i guess if you left instead of him would be more peace on planet Earth
see you in other games
Lol… Are you seriously acting as a victim…? It seems I chose wrong side too. I should have allied with the noble Cree nation against you. I carried all the heat of war - centuries of war while you were calmly developing your empire and building an army. A war, by the way, that you started. I rejected wave after wave of Cree invading forces, and then I finally managed to break through his defenses and launch a successful invasion. Then I asked you politely not to take his last city, as it was the only place I could expand to. You omitted my request, waited for me to lower the city HP and then gave the final blow, taking it in my face. In doing so, you effectively surrounded me and left absolutely no room for my people to grow, thus forcing me to go to war with you. Few people would have kept playing with the start location I had, locked in a peninsula that is 45% tundra and 45% desert, and I still managed to make it into the Renaissance.
In nature, there is no beast you can corner and expect not to be attacked. I warned you, and you ignored this basic natural law.
For all this that we see as a betrayal and an act of perfidy, we formally denounce you in front of the other leaders. The holy Queen of England declares you an enemy of mankind.
We may win, we may draw or we may lose this war, but we will fight with pride and determination, in the name of justice and freedom. May God let us see your evil empire, which stands upon pillars of lies and dishonor, collapse.
PS: don’t take all this as an attack ad hominem - I’ve always liked roleplaying.
Hah… you guys are awesome.
I will be off to holidays till 4th of January. Sorry for the inconveniences caused
Hi all,
Sorry about this delay. I’m travelling abroad January the 10th and will be away for two months or so. I’ve also been busy due to preparation, Christmas, etc. Unfortunately, I’ll have to be replaced.
@BobReman @Kennedy992 @zarquonwhereareyou Would any of you guys be willing to replace me? @mrosack
Good luck to all and see you soon!

Sure - if this is OK for everyone else.
Got an incompatible save version error on my turn, so I had to revert it.
I checked, no mods running / no updates pending for civ on my side, hopefully just a weird save glitch!
Ha! i was a turn away from having four go off, gg this was a fun map to play with.
Yeah, I was worried about the size of your cities. Pretty sure you were building one of those nukes in M’Banza Kongo. That city must have had a really high production, because on top of its size I had Arsenal of Democracy slotted and was sending ALL of my trade routes to it.
I really tried my best to achieve a cultural victory, but Scythia’s aggressive attempt to spread his heresy all over the world and your cultural potency required a strategy shift.
Where were you planning to strike me with your incoming nuclear arsenal? xD
Edit: yeah, map was great. How useful water canals would have been to me. I really needed one in New Sunderland. My fleet needed to travel a huge distance across the North Pole to be able to defend both West and East coast of my empire.
Good game. Poor peaceful Scythians were just trying to spread love and truth and they got blown to hell.
