to my knowledge, since the players surrendered you canā€™t mark the AI for substitution :frowning: but if new players are found, you can make a request for them to be inserted into the game in the ā€˜Game Supportā€™ category of the pydt forum

FYI: You can mark the AI positions for substitution under the ā€˜Request Substitutionā€™ tab if the departed players are still listed in the dropdown

youā€™re host, so itā€™s your call how you want to handle the situation ā€¦ you can advertise the openings on the discord servers, you can decide to continue with AI controlling those civs for now.

Is the game stuck now or not? If so, I donā€™t know how to fix it. I never asked to be host.

no game is not stuck, as a courtesy Iā€™ve been waiting for your decision of whether we should keep playing w/the AI or not. I offered to pause 29 days ago, and you didnā€™t say specifically what you wanted so Iā€™ve been holding the turn since you took off the timer.

the position is not terrible (speaking as americaā€™s close neighbor), but because of the AIā€™s belligerence (and general AI-hood) Iā€™ve just begun the Japanese invasion ā€¦ ironically :slight_smile: I have no objections to you joining, itā€™ll be a challenge to repel me (or we can establish an amicable cooperation similar to that I had with the previous human player, I suppose)
