I’ve never played the Heroes and Legend mod. What is it?
there are some heroes that you meet in specific cases , and you can hire some in cities with a monument , they have special powers and “die” after some turns , depending oh each heroe . then with faith you can resurect them
i have all packs so maybe you don’t have the pack , or just didn’t try
Some heroes areally nice and usefull , some are just good at war , exploration , or help with CS… have a look
When created game will be full of players the button wiil appear.
Sorry. I don’t want to play with heroes. I don’t think it’s a Civ6.
Anyway feel free game with all modes you want. 
Yes without heroes it will be fine. I agree with kapshul. With all modes? I see the dramatic ages with zombie and the game cannot be finished 
I think there are 2 good official mods: random techs and corporations.
And of course unoficial Better Balanced Start and maybe Better Balanced Game.

i enjoy corporations and secret societies too , but they disbalance the game. won’t use them.
With mirror map , no needs for better balanced mod , it’s a perfectly balanced map !
Wonder to set up a team 2VS 2 game,with mirror map , would you enjoy ?

Abundant resources, no barbarians, no tribal village
Monopolies and corporation enabled
I can change if you wish something else, but nor barbs no tribes is less random for a true balanced game, imo…

If you are both interested , i can team with any of you , but i have another game with kapshul , and i guess we’ll have to fight a commonneighbour , so i’d be interested in playing with him for sharing strategies, but i dont care plauing wih anyone as long he’s not a noob 
do you know a 4th player to invite ?
then we can make teams and choose either to have same civs , or different civs, then i’ll launch the game
i’ll try to balance players turn , so players alternate turns , and we can decide teams with our gmt time and preferences about when we play , to have a quicker turn order and play faster
