ok it seems to be working in legacy mode.
Can everyone please follow these instructions to play in legacy mode:
right click on Sid Meier’s Civilization VI in your Steam library, then select Properties. In the window that appears, navigate to the Betas tab and enter the code ineedlegacyaccess into the text box. This will unlock a Legacy beta branch, which you can then select from the dropdown. You are able to finish your games there. Make sure to turn this beta branch off when starting a new game!
@birddog6 - can you please switch to legacy mode before doing your turn?
hopefully @Acetylcholine was able to do his turn in legacy mode. Ramiro was.
I’ve switched, yes, let me know if I ever screw it up! I have games going that require me to switch back and forth.

With regret I am going to have to surrender due to legacy mode. I will wait to hear back from you and if someone will take my place.
can everyone please see the discord channel for this game so we can vote on what to do regarding the faith-buy bug?
@Acetylcholine @birddog6 @proregulo can you please vote on these options regarding legacy mode:
can everyone vote:
A) can’t play with the bug, faith-buy is critical, need legacy mode,
B) prefer to play legacy, but can live without,
C) prefer to play without legacy but can if needed,
D) I refuse to play in legacy mode
all votes are B or C so far (apart from @petrojbl1 who I guess was a D and has already left)
Confirming for everyone - this game will continue in Legacy Mode for the time being. We’ll review in 2 weeks’ time to see if there’s any more news from Firaxis.

@Zamalekite - You’ll need to revert back before @petrojbl1 quit if you want a replacement for them. Once you’ve done that let me know in the Game Support category and I’ll do the replacement.
Please note everyone that we’ll be switching to standard mode at the start of the next era (i.e. my next turn)
