[FIXED] Increasing the max human player count for game in-progress

Not sure if this is a bug report or a feature request, but I’m trying to take over an AI player in the middle of a game that has already begun, but the max human player count is set to 4 (6 slots total, so currently 2 AI players).

Is there a way to increase this number and allow a new player to take the place of an AI? Maybe even a rough way to do it by altering a setting in the save file? Or even by starting a “new game” with a higher player count and uploading the save from the old game? Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!

I can look into changing that so you can modify it after the game starts, but I won’t get to it soon. If you let me know the name of the game I can change it.

I have a game already going and have it marked to allow humans to join mid game but I can’t change the number of human players max in the game. I have two AI spots but I would like to fill them out with Humans. Is that possible with out restarting the game?

Let me know the game name and I can update it.

Here is the link to it:

I’ve updated your game to have 6 human slots, but I think only one more person is going to be able to join since there’s an AI in slot 4.

This has been fixed in https://github.com/pydt/web/pull/14.
