Hi, I’m trying to continue our Online game in PYDT. Two people got eliminated so we’re only 4 players left. I got an error when trying to upload the game file: “Error Message: Incorrect civ type in save file! (actual: LEADER_JAYAVARMAN, expected: LEADER_QIN)”.
Jayavarman is one of the eliminated players.
The players left in the game are: Wilfrid, Qin, John Curtin and Lady Six Sky.

OK, I’ve updated the players in the database, give it another shot and let me know if you get any different error messages.
Thank you!
I could successfully pass the turn to the next player. Let’s hope everything works now.
Is it possible to edit the database ourselves or put AI in defeated players’ slots if we continue other games with BYDT?
The player after me (China) took his turn, saved and got the prompt to send the save file. He couldn’t.
“Incorrect player turn in save file! This probably means it is still your turn and you have some more moves to make!”
Any idea what could be wrong?
Are they sure they’ve played their entire turn and it says the next player’s name? I looked in the uploaded save file and it says it’s China’s turn, so I’m pretty sure there were still some outstanding moves to make.
He said the blue background image came up with save game and next player buttons so i guess he’s done. Should we try reverting the turn first before we troubleshoot any further (if that’s possible on the first turn of PYDT)?
have him take a screenshot and come post it on here, i don’t have the mods you have so i can’t run the save but i’m 99% sure it’s still his turn, that’s what that error message is for.
I’m so sorry. He seemed to have had a unit that hadn’t moved. He said his turn was done.
It’s been passed on to the next player now. Thanks again for the help.
No problem, glad it’s working! It’s not possible to set games up right initially when there’s AIs between human players, but I’m glad to fix the games manually if requested. I’m not sure where that is on my priority list for an actual fix in the interface, but it could get done eventually.
