Are there other interesting settiings to know? some addons like monopolies and corps, secret societies , etc?

The map will be fractal. We will use the better balanced game mods and harvest all resource mods. I’m open to the monopolies, corps, secret societies, etc… if people want them. Just no zombies. The main rule is you have to declare war on all major civs the turn you meet them and never go to peace. You don’t have to attack city-states if you don’t want, but you are allowed to attack and capture/raze them. All victory conditions are enabled.

I changed to say “no zombies”. We can have vampires, but no zombie mode.

It would be an honour to join, although I ask about if we can adopt Friendly Game rules?

I already invited erekose because he asked to be in our last game. However, he hasn’t responded in a few days and he hasn’t joined. So he might have changed his mind. If he doesn’t join by tomorrow I will send you the password and you can join.

The only rule from the Friendly Game rules we have is the no reload rule. This is an always war game so all scouting, trash talking (we don’t really trash talk since we all friends here), is acceptable.

fwiw. In Zeta erekose has been showing as on vacation for several days now. Then again, that did not stop him replying above…

What do you think about not using unkillable scouts (great leaders for example)? I’m fine with it.

I’m fine with the idea. Occasionally I forget which games I am in that require it.

I am with Ozy on that. I do not usually do that much but am susceptible to not remembering.

Assuming this is a prelude to re-inviting Valamas - which I am fine with - the only thing that slightly bothers me is the reference to exploits in his (- now ai -) game rules. Is there a list of these somewhere?, as I am pretty much completely uninformed, and I understand this is not considered an excuse.

Also it occurs to me the reason I have won so few games may be because I am unaware, so time to fix that.

The only three rules we have are:

  1. No reloads (this is standard in every game I assume).
  2. Must declare war on all major civs the turn you meet them, and never go to peace.
  3. No un-killable scouts outside your borders that are unescorted.

Best thing to do is as soon as the game starts, pin yourself a note in game. That’s what I do.
