my spawn is such booty, in between tundra and desert, haha. at least i have three settlers
Well, my spawn certainly has some bums but it has b-holes too 
Also I have (at least) 3 neighboring civs, and 2 of them are very potent right from the Turn 1.
This is fascinating. The MIQS mod skewed the balance much more than I expected!
Also, the Barbarians (Clans) may be especially dangerous in this game setup.
This trait should be particularly noted:
In this mode, Barbariansā technology level scales faster and you may meet advanced barbarian units that no civilization has currently unlocked. Barbarians unlock a new technology once a player unlocks it or gets its Eureka. This is unlike regular barbarians, which unlock a technology when 50% of players have it. This might be intentional so that players have powerful barbarian units to hire.

And thanks for the advice @kennya. I took a bit of a beating by Barbarians but just about managed to save my city due to a couple of brave Scouts and a +10 strength bonus

Request the sub, but don`t stop playing. This is a game with 12 players, and standard speed = will already take some time to play. We should expect some drops or losing ends.

It should be noted that Immortal AI playing applies boost to general development of that civ: +32% S/C/F , +80% P/G, +3 CS
Iām fine with requesting a sub or even letting ai continue. This game is going to take ages, kinda here for it lol

Hope all is ok with you @kennya and you can play again soon. Iām happy to wait, itās no big deal. We all have delays from time to time. Good point from @Brunel to just post something and switch on Vacation mode though just to manage expectations

Can we add a timer, please? A 3 day timer would be better than nothing.
