Yes, you can just press the ready button w/o changing any selections, and it should work. No swapping slots or anything.

Another thing unusual in this game (I have yet to check the other Civ 7 game I’m in) is that my capital’s borders (the colored line indicating ā€œmyā€ lands around the city) are not visible in this game. Anyone else?

same here, but in the last round only. Before I had the border lines around my Capital. Maybe a setting change ?

Me too, since turn 2 or 3 i guess.

Saw the above about colored lines a bit ago, but checked and I had them, I believe since the start of the game.

No production bug… well not really. On turn 5 I had checked out a campfire and did a narrative event. Choice between -100% production and move on… well…. I chose the -100% and as far as I can tell it resulted in no benefit, something about illusions and having some ideas about perspective! Anyways, 3 turns of no production. Don’t do it!!! The reason I at first thought there was a problem when I played my turn, was that I couldn’t figure out why I had no production in my city… it has been awhile, and kind of forgot about the narrative event. So checked online, and many have had the same problem forgetting about their choice in the narrative event. So no bug. I downloaded previous turns to make sure, and yes, it was. Anyways, I reiterate, don’t do it!!!

I’m not sure I understand what you are saying. So, when you have a goodie hut with the choice to have no production for one turn, you don’t get the reward, but you keep the 0 production forever? Does this always happen, or only sometimes? Is that a problem with multiplayer, hotseat or pydt?

Sorry, from what I read, some choices get rewards, but as far as I know, this one didn’t. I guess it is just taking the gamble that there is some value of giving up production. The production loss though was only for 3 turns, not for the rest of the game. It is not a bug, just a feature of the game. So the big diff between Civ 7 and 6 is that there is a chance of civ7 goody huts doing bad things!!!

Well, yes, of course. You always have to devide, if the loss of yields is worth the gain. Or did you not get the reward? 3 turns is a lot. I only had 2 turns tops. And you get the reward in the first turn.

if I did get a reward, it wasn’t evident. As I said above, it was just a statement that mentioned it revealed illusions in the landscape, and my civilization learned something about perspective!

D@$m Sid Meier!

Do you still remember the text, in case someone suggests it to me so I can politely decline?

@BlarneyOBlade how dare you send Meroe to attack me?! :joy:

Ummm, who is Meroe? I plead innocent! Will have to look at the turn and see if I can identify the dastardly plan blamed on me.

I forgot to look, but still not sure I could identify Meroe, is it an unfriendly camp? I see I can incite to attack a civ with a citystate! costs influence though, and Catherine would like to remain friendly.

It was a friendly city-state until the previous round. Maybe it’s a wrongdoing from an unknown yet and malevolent neighbor. But I didn’t know you could incite to attack an unmet civ.
Anyway, Lakshmi Bai would like to remain friendly with the glorious Catherine too.

In some of the real-time Civ 7 forums, they have a rule about only using the incite action once (per age?). I don’t play those games, just browse the forums.

I don’t think or know anything about this, i used incite once on an AI.

I do not have Meroe on my map, just Aritim. Just to confirm. And thanks for stating your friendly intentions…
